CHURCH OF ST. GEORGE

The chapel of St. George is located above the spring of the Jadro river. It was first mentioned in 1397 in “Reambulacijadobara” of Split archdiocese. The Turks did not want to destroy it because archbishop Cupilli mentioned it in a visitation from 1718. Above the façade there is a bell gable, located asymmetrically above the entrance. There is a Gothic-style ceiling inside. The chapel is 11 cubits long and 9 cubits wide. Its apse is 8 cubits long.
