CHURCH OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI

The church of St. Francis of Assisi (18th century) is in Veliki  BročanacThe church has a rectangular apse. At the top of the façade there is a concrete and stone bell gable with two bells. The apse is barrel-vaulted. In a niche next to a presbyterium on the right there is a statue of St. Francis while on the left a statue of Name of Jesus The church has been renovated several times, and its exterior has been recently plastered.

The church is surrounded by groblje an enclosed graveyard. In 1997 a crucifix was erected there to honour all the victims who lay their lives for Croatia, and a new parish house in 1996.
