The parish church of St. Michael was built from March 23 to September 29, 1935 when fraJozoMaštrović, native ofPrugovo, was the vicar. It was built using white carved stone. With the apse it is 25 meters long, 10 meters wide and 6.4 meters high. There is a one-story bell tower on the façade. Due to lack of money, the bell tower remained disproportionally low, so in 1998 when don Marin Barišić was the vicar, another floor was added, which contributed to the church’s exceptional beauty. The church was mostly built thanks to the donations of the parishioners who, besides financial donations, gave each family 40 daily wages. The church was reconstructed in 1969 when prof. don SrećkoDragošević, native of Split, was the vicar. A stone altar facing the parishioners was constructed, and the floor of the church was paved with ground stone, a new tabernacle and a baptistery were constructed, while a new sacristy was builton the left from the main entrance. There are statues of St. Michael, St. Peter and that of Madonna in the church. In 2002 a bronze bust of a blessed cardinal Stepinac, sculpted by a sculptor Marko Gugić, was placed in front of the church.
